SKS Creative CEO Speaks at International Women’s Day NYC 2023

On March 8th, 2023, SKS Creative had the honor of being represented on one of the biggest stages celebrating women in technology—International Women’s Day NYC, hosted at the Wix Playground in Manhattan. The event, organized by Google Developer Group NYC, Women Techmakers, and Devs on Wix, brought together some of the most inspiring voices in tech to share their journeys and spark conversation around inclusion, creativity, and leadership.
Our very own CEO, Laylee Bodaghee, took the stage to share her path as a self-taught creative developer, business owner, and visionary behind SKS Creative. She spoke candidly about breaking into the tech world without a traditional background, building an agency rooted in both design excellence and technical mastery, and the importance of pushing creative boundaries—especially for women blazing their own trails.
Laylee’s talk emphasized what we live and breathe at SKS Creative: that great websites aren’t just built—they’re imagined, tested, and refined with heart and skill. Her story resonated deeply with attendees looking to combine art, code, and purpose into their work.
